Conservation and gilding
We carry out conservation and gilding work in churches and other cultural properties, as well as on historic objects, works of art, frames and decorative elements. Gold leaf and traditional techniques are used where the surface should be cared for rather than unnecessarily replaced.
Projects are often carried out in consultation with a heritage specialist and with the necessary permits where required. Careful craftsmanship in environments that matter.
Cultural and building conservation
Restoration and conservation work in historic environments: buildings, facades and interiors that are built to endure. Indoors and outdoors, in historic settings and where new details need to feel at home.
When required, projects may also include maintenance, roofing work and minor masonry — with the same attention to detail as in the studio.
Painting and wood craftsmanship
Window restoration, wallpapering and canvas stretching — both in the studio and on site. Smaller woodworking projects are also part of the craft: furniture, doors, shutters and interior joinery when needed for a complete result.
The same skilled hand can recreate historic finishes or give a contemporary interior a more personal character.
Decorative painting
Decorative painting for rooms, woodwork and details where the surface takes centre stage. We work with traditional techniques such as faux wood graining, marbling, stencil painting and glazing.
These techniques can be used to recreate historic expressions or create new environments with depth, character and a personal touch.
Painting and maintenance
Conventional painting is part of the work too — linseed oil paint, red ochre and traditional systems where appropriate, with modern materials where they do the job better. Indoors and outdoors, in historic environments and everyday spaces.
